An absolutely excellent stay at Nepomuk in Vipiteno. From the moment we arrived, the welcome was exceptionally warm and friendly, and that genuine hospitality continued throughout our stay. It has the feel of a family run hotel where people really care about their guests, rather than simply providing a room for the night.
The location is superb, right in the heart of beautiful Vipiteno, making it an ideal base for exploring the historic centre and the surrounding South Tyrolean mountains. The building itself has been beautifully renovated, combining its historic character with a clean, contemporary interior. Our room was extremely comfortable, immaculately presented and clearly designed with considerable thought.
The real highlight for us, however, was breakfast. It was genuinely exceptional. Everything was beautifully presented, fresh and of very high quality, with excellent local produce and plenty of choice. Breakfast felt carefully prepared rather than simply laid out, and the service was just as good. It was one of the best hotel breakfasts we have had for some time.
What makes Nepomuk particularly special is the combination of a lovely historic setting, modern comfortable accommodation and exceptionally welcoming people. Carmen and the team have created somewhere that feels relaxed, personal and genuinely hospitable.
We were only staying briefly while travelling through the Italian Alps, but would very happily return and stay longer.
