Details are important, so lets deal with that first. I didn't see any garden oasis. But I did see some kind of vegetative growth, behind a picket fence, but I don't know what it was. No Continental breakfast was offered, but I saw an empty space where it was offered in the past, and I didn't see any onsite fitness center, but there may have been one in the past. Yes, there is free WiFi, but the coverage was very spotty with constant buffering and latency. The room I chose said there was a mountain view. I assumed it was something more picturesque. It is actually some miles away. It basically means your room is in the back of the motel, away from the road. Which is a good thing. The motel is right off the highway, away from things, so there's not much around. There is a nice flea market right behind, and about 2 miles down the same road, the Red Rooster Pizzeria, which has awesome cheesesteaks. When I first pulled up, there were no cars in front and I thought it was no longer in business, but it is, and cars showed up later. It is an old motel, needs some TLC, but my room was pretty clean and smelled just fine. A major complaint- the 9 watt LCD bulb prevented me from being able to read and write, so I couldn't work. The TV is small, and for some reason the picture is much smaller. Make no mistake, This is a no-frills, bare-bones place to stay, and at least in October it was a quiet place. But, I was satisfied, and I would come back. I actually ended up staying an extra night.

First room the card would not open the door, so they said to come in to the desk, and they would open the door when we needed in. I was staying three days, im not doing this. Second room had no heat or AC. NOT GOOD

Good for a night or two.

This place is great if you need just a night or two in town, while not the prettiest of places I’ve never had an issue with bugs or anything like that. And it’s the cheapest place around. You get what you pay for. I find the staff friendly and have never had any types of problems with them.

Nice hotel, near downtown Shippensburg. The staff are friendly. Had a problem with the room key, the lady at the front desk fixed that without any hassel.

Never stay hee again!

When I checked in I asked that no maid service They would smile at you and say O.K. In the room the bed covers were stained and felt gressey. There was no smoke detector in the room. I found mine in a drawer with no battery. When I took a shower it felt as if there was no support under the tub and there was black mold on the shower curtain. The toilet was sooo small. Every day I asked for no maid service and every day they came into my room The last day they my dirty towels and never replaced them. The directions they gave me to this music event was so far out of my way.

We were only there for one night, just to sleep. The person at the front desk was very nice and friendly, but they need a new cleaning person. The walls and carpet were filthy. There were very few outlets and only half of those works. No tissues in the tissue holder. We requested non-smoking, but could smell smoke in the room. But we were in and out. Just won't stay there again.

Broken hotel

First of sll there was nobidy in the office When they finally came back check in toik forever. Our non smoking room smells of cigarettes and nicotine was running down the walls. The toilet was leaking on the floor and non stop running and bathroom fan wouldnt stop banging in ceiling. Dirty bedding and dirty napkins left on counter. Broken outlets The list goes on..I even took pictures how disappointing we rented this place after reading good reviews I wound not recommend this hotel.
