Excellent hotel with wonderful atmosphere

We had a memorable and wonderful stay at Fjordslottet hotel. The staff was very friendly, welcoming and service was excellent. The hotel was overall comfortable and was situated in a beautiful and quiet environment. Gladly recommend this hotel warmly to all visitors.

The bathroom smelled strongly of drains. The toilet lid was broken. The lamps by the bed were very distracting. The hotel is very noisy. The breakfast was simple; the scrambled eggs were from the day before and still cold from the refrigerator, and the very young service staff needed better training.

Was nice stay, but shame about the noisy fan

Lovely view from balcony, room had a sofa as well as desk and Chair. Hotel was very grand and nice breakfast, although shame there isn't more options for vegan, as only had cows milk, eggs and pancake mix. Luckily enough fruit came out when I went back up for more bread. Room was poorly lit and was horrible buzzing from extractor fan /air conditioning unit from outside my room 117, wish I had asked for alternative room as really effected my sleep.

2 days stay in Fjordslottet Hotel

Had wifi problems first evening and morning (couldn't connect on any device), but it was solved next evening. Rooms are okay. The price is fair. Hotel definitely has a vintage style, although it could use a bit of renewal. Vintage doesn't mean old 😉 The staff was very nice and polite. Despite having some problems with the lamp in my room I can't complain much. The bad thing was shower head and hose. It definitely needs a replacement. It was white old plastic with a minor leak. And the shower head wasn't working well either. Things like that shouldn't happen in any good hotel. The breakfast was nice and tasty. But we were missing some sausages and the scrambled eggs were cold two of our three times I ate it. Also it would be nice for coffee and hot water to be marked properly. Despite those minor things I think the hotel was fairly priced and I'll remember the experience as positive, although definitely not as one of the best.

Vi bodde på en koselig juniorsuite. Koste med forfriskende sauna/bading i tilknytning til hotellet. God frokost og hyggelig betjening. Stilt og rolig området med fin park rundt hotellet.
