Main bedroom was clean but bathroom was a bit grubby. Location was fantastic, close to shops, only 10 min walks in different directions to both promenade and train station. Staff were very pleasant although when we arrived they asked us to pay the local tax, which we had already done prior to arrival but they didn't have a note of it so had to search through my emails to find the receipt they sent me. We had booked this through a 3rd party and paid the cost prior to the trip however they also tried to charge us for the room on arrival. We explained we had paid this and it seemed to be sorted but they then took a payment out my account, then refunded it, then took another payment out and refunded it, however the money took over a week to clear back into my bank, by which time we were home. Luckily we were able to source money from elsewhere to spend.

The hotel did what we expected - it was reasonably priced, clean, comfortable, near to the town etc. No frills, but all we did was sleep and shower there so that was no problem. Friendly staff, good to have air con and balcony
