Our stay was pleasant and quiet. We loved the balcony off the room, where we could sit outdoors as weather permitted. The property is close to the Bennington Museum and to downtown Bennington. Both were easy walking distance, though it was raining so we drove. We appreciated the large, clean room and quiet atmosphere. We recommend this property to anyone visiting Bennington, Vermont

The staff was incredibly helpful and the breakfast was homemade not powdered eggs. Down side was the walls were a bit thin. Rooms were well appointed and it’s in a great location. I was there to volunteer for a RAm event and a lot of us stayed there. Next year I would stay there again. Maybe we can get all the RAM volunteers in one building as we have to get up at 4 am

There was a wait for check in. The room was fine. It’s an older building and while mostly clean there are parts that show there age. There was an issue with the WiFi. The questions I asked the staff were answered politely. There was ample parking. You were able to hear noise in the hallway and in the room above. Breakfast was available but basic.

The room was somewhat spartan, but overall comfortable, and the beds were good. Unfortunately, the Internet connection was quite weak. The bathroom was small and somewhat awkwardly designed, as it was impossible to turn on the shower without stepping under cold water first. There was also a rather loud dehumidifier near the staircase. The continental breakfast was below expectations, and there was not enough seating for guests when several people arrived for breakfast at around the same time. On the positive side, the staff were very friendly and welcoming, which was much appreciated.

Very satisfied with our stay here. The property is comfortable and quiet, pet friendly and included both a jetted tub and a sauna in the room. The front desk staff was excellent and very friendly. We arrived an hour early for check-in and asked if we could check-in early, and was told that they were booked the night before so, "no". Not even, "There will be a charge of..." that was okay, nonetheless. The pool was closed for maintenance, we would have liked to know this before hand so our toddler wouldn't be so disappointed. Overall, the property looked like they were attempting to update an old motel to a chic hotel, and doing a good job. The staff did seem to care about the place, which was very nice to see and hear. There were great features too, the shower had great water pressure and plenty of hot water. The place was clean.
