We woke up to a screaming child 3 days in a row. Young girls laughing and talking in the hallway and the help speaking to each other from down hallways at a loud volume... so I'd say these walls are paper thin. You can hear everything but the ocean. They make sure you can not open the doors/windows on the ocean side, and I pay extra, not just for the view, but the sound as well. In Virginia Beach you can open your sliders and enjoy the sound, sun and smells of the Ocean. I have no idea why they did it so tacky here. You should absolutely be able to hear the ocean. I prefer it to the sounds I was subjected to. On the brighter side, having stayed at so many hotels, I can confidently declare they had the BEST pillows of anyone, anywhere. Not flat so you need 4 of them to be comfortable. Thick and wonderful pillows. Large bathroom, not a small one you can barely move in if your partner is with you, or where you have to close the door before you sit on the toilet. The room was also a good size. TV was adequate. We don't know about room service as we never looked for it. All in all, it was a place I'd go back to, I just don't want to be surrounded by noisy families while on vacation. Oh, and they give you a chair, and a towel, and a pass for the beach. Free. Unless you don't return them... ☺️
