Peaceful, spotless, beautiful. The staff are so helpful. Breakfast was pleasant, with the patio, water features and arbour of colourful flowers. Location very convenient for the nearby bars, restaurants, shops, sea port and its adjacent bus stop and taxi rank but nevertheless very quiet and salubrious. Spacious, well-decorated. The room was nice, with a balcony overlooking the courtyard with port visible, plus air conditioning, a fridge with free mineral water and decent en suite shower with free toiletries. I’m surprised this place doesn’t have more stars!

I only wish I had been able to book a longer stay at the Scala hotel. I loved everything about the hotel. The staff were amazing and very helpful, the rooms were lovely, cool and clean and well cared for. The breakfasts were excellent and I loved the pool. The location is perfect, the best place to stay on Patmos. Walking distance to almost everything. The hotel staff were amazing and the breakfast really good. The room was very basic but had a nice balcony, was nice size, and really all we needed. The a/c worked great and it was hot outside. Gorgeous pool with swim up bar. The bar doesn't open very early. I think it was fully open about the time you stop using the pool. lol. Overall, clean, well located, great staff, excellent breakfast. You can't go wrong. I hope to stay here again.
