I spent two nights at this charming little motel in Cayucos. The exterior is beautiful, with bright turquoise doors, colorful flower boxes, outdoor seating areas, and even birdseed for the wild birds.The room was exceptionally clean and beautifully laid out, with hardwood floors, wonderful lighting, a full-length mirror, and a modern touch-lighted bathroom mirror. There was a spacious tiled shower and the water pressure was phenomenal. Windows at opposite ends of the room allowed for a lovely coastal breeze.As a solo traveler, I especially appreciated seeing someone who appeared to be the owner or manager regularly walking the property. It gave me an added sense of safety and security.My biggest disappointment was the lack of storage. There was no dresser or traditional closet, only a small hanging area beside the bathroom toilet. I had to keep some belongings on the bed, limiting my sleeping space. There is no bathtub, Overall, this is a beautifully maintained property with wonderful coastal charm. With a few practical improvements, this lovely motel could be exceptional!

Very nice place to stay

I’ve had a lovely experience staying at this place. The place was very clean. The bed was comfortable, there were inly 3 pillows but you can request for more. The only thing that was a downside was the WiFi. It was very slow and difficult to connect to. But I had cell service so it’s not a big deal. Walk to the beach was 5 minutes and it was the highlight of my short stay.

We have been staying here for 5 yrs now , the owners are friendly. I love the location, the rooms are clean, great parking. The only thing that needs attention is the towels, they are not white, they are old and grey looking, come on owners replace them. I started bringing my own towels from home. Maybe get new pillows they are flat and you only get 3.

The property was clean and fine just don't expect many amenities. I would recommend booking directly with the motel as they won't work with you on the room if you book third party such as Expedia. We had room #18 which I don't recommend and was told that there was nothing they can do about since I booked with Expedia. Having been a Travel Advisor for the past 10 years I know that's a reason they hide behind not wanting to assist in changing rooms. Not the best customer service but it fit the rest of the experience.
