The Hotel Mai was excellent for the cost and Gabriella was super helpful and we left our car there for 4 days while we cruised it was only $20 per day. I would stay at Hotel Mai again if I'm in Long Beach.

Very nice week at Hotel Mai, love the rooms, very quiet hotel for the most part, sauna was super useful for me, two peletons a couple of treadmills and some free weights get the job done in the gym. Pool is small but adequate, jacuzzi was solid, staff was helpful. Location is amazing for me, I Love the city vibes and the Downtown Long Beach energy.

It was an ok experience. I loved how big the rooms are, actually pretty surprisingly big. Parking hard to find. Hallway carpet very dirty. I wanted to get some ice and the ice bucket was dirty and sticky. Also, to manage electricity/ power, you have to insert key in a key box by the door. So if we wanted to watch TV, all the lights had to be on. To turn lights off, had to remove key from box. Which turned off all other power. Staff was very nice and helpful.

The hotel was supper close to where i needed to be for the weekend. The staff was amazing let me leave my car in the 5 min area all weekend since i came late and there wasn’t alot of parking available. Over all the place was nice , newer amenities but stuff just wasnt very clean. My sheets and towels had stains. The steamer room smells very musty I tried to use it but it smelled worst as the steam built up. I didnt say anything about but the stains so thats on me but i stayed 2 nights and was not there most the time. over all a great time and experience and i appreciate them letting me leave my car after check out !

Hotel Mai is very unassuming. At first, it just looks like any small, boutique hotel. But our stay ended up being one of the best we've had. The property was clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly. The pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room were incredible. The roof top is an amazing place to relax. I very much recommend a stay here.

Good budget hotel in Long Beach. Clean and comfortable rooms for a good rate. Would be a higher rating except the location is right on the transit mall street so it gets really rough, especially at night. One block north or south and it gets much cleaner.

This hotel was pretty well maintain the cleanliness was okay I found fingernails in the bathroom but they were easily miss. Everything work well in the hotel room the TV has basic channels no Netflix or other streaming services were available. It has a charger for your car. Staff was very helpful and nice and genuine. With it being in heart of downtown it was actually very quiet The rooms were clean sheets were clean and the rooms were a good size I will definitely be going back!

The room was clean - the memory foam mattress was probably the most comfortable hotel mattress I’ve slept on. The bidet was also awesome. The only downside to the property is the tram/bus stations run right by the building so it can get noisy between people and traffic. I would definitely stay here again though!
