First time in a hostel and it was better than expected; simple furnishings and small room, with shared (gender specific) bathroom. Steep flight of stairs to enter off street. Owner gave great video intro before arriving, to know how to access hostel. The main difficulty was street activity, since it is on a busy street, but it was fine the second night. There was no air conditioning, but a fan was provided, which helped since I wanted to close the window because of noise. Some rooms didn’t have windows, which is against fire code in my area, so ask for a room with a window if you want one. The kitchen is spacious and you can have use of the refrigerator and mark your food, which was very helpful. Overall a good place and easily accessible to Culver City Bus which is our go to when in the area, and now that the LAX Metro Connector is open, super easy to get around and navigate LA without a car.

I booked for a large twin bed room that appeared in the picture I chose but was given a windowless very small room with almost no space to move around. Worst room I have ever booked in my entire life. I called the manager but he said he could not do anything about it as we booked through a 3rd party. Unbelievable.

I had a perfect time here, everyone was friendly and the environment was tranquil. I want to thank Dustin for helping me through any requests and questions I had. I also want to thank Mauricio and Digori for keeping the environment clean and welcoming. The service was perfect and everyone is very friendly :)

The rooftop patio is really nice. So is the kitchen as a place to make morning coffee. Showers were hot and good. And the ladies are a had a fun solarium where the sun shines thru the privacy glass blocks. Nice afternoon sun. Btw the property used to be a massage or PT business and that explains the layout

It is a well organized place. The instructions from host is straightforward. Only on-street parking. One propably is able to find a spot within a couple blocks. We had a room with double queen bed. The bed is memory foam and very comfortable. Men and women have separate shared bathroom, but there is only one sink in each bathroom. There's soap holders in shower stall, but some has supplies all out. Overall a decent play to sleep for a night.

I was pleasantly surprised! I needed a place to stay in a pinch because I was too tired to drive home. The property was exactly as described in their listing. It was very clean and quiet and had everything I needed! Will stay there again for sure. The neighborhood is a little bit sketchy, but tolerable. I felt safe inside the hostel for sure but definitely didn’t leave valuables in my car which was parked on the street.
