Basic little motel attached to a gas station, but the view are incredible of the Mission mountains to the east . And if you walk around back , there is a sweet spot with nice grass to put a camp chair to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening. Recommendation to the owners , we felt if they had a hot tub or two back there with some picnic tables, it would be a desirable location

Parking for a truck towing a trailer was difficult. Road noise a little bit of an issue but not terrible. Room was warm, as the AC was so loud we couldn’t sleep with it on, and windows didn’t have screens. Overhead fan only had one speed. Beds were comfortable, bathroom was clean. Nearby convenience store had free coffee for guests.

The room was nicer than we expected. It has the vibe of a contactless Airbnb more than a typical motel. We also enjoyed the mountain view from one of the windows. The location is convenient, right next to a gas station, convenience store, and two coffee shops. However, it is directly alongside a busy street with no fencing around the property, which made us feel a little uneasy. A few details could be improved: the flooring felt somewhat dusty, and the shampoo and body-wash dispensers were poorly designed and difficult to use.

We really enjoyed our stay here! Very friendly staff, most comfortable bed ever, exceptionally clean room. All the amenities that we needed. And the delicious hot breakfast provided was great, especially the beautiful view of the water and mountains behind the lodge. Wonderful! Will definitively stay again!

NEGITIVE: There was no staff, reception area or in person check in. There was a phone number in the motel window to call and check in. They gave you the access code, and you gave them card info over the phone. The whole process doesn't seem secure at all. There were also a lot of mosquitos, I probably killed about 20 of them inside the room. POSITIVE: The room was rustic and very cozy. It was also clean and in a convenient location. Gas station, little convenient store, gift shop and a few restaurants nearby. If they got rid of the mosquito problem and made a more secure check in process, perhaps in person, I would stay here again and recommend it.
