The location and staff were excellent! They were very friendly and resourceful. They gave us tips on where to eat and showed us around with a map of Florence. The room had a very strong perfume - it was spotlessly clean and comfortable, but if you are sensitive to smells like I am, you may find it too strong. For me it was hard to breathe at first and I let the front desk know not to spray the room the following days and I was ok once we aired the room for a couple of hours. Their recommendation of steak Florentine was the best!

The room was clean, quite small, beds were rock hard, overall it was just an average hotel room for the price I would’ve expected a little more. The air-conditioning didn’t quite work we could not control it. The breakfast was very plain and they ran out of eggs at 9:40 am and would not bring more because they were expecting less people. They do not give you any time to check out a little later unless they charge you for it. Overall, it’s an old hotel but the location was very good.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very nice. Make sure that you understand that the double rooms have completely separate bathrooms, accessible across the hallway. The bathroom is only yours, but it makes a difference.

The hotel location is good. It's convenient walking to the train station and the Duomo or Uffizi. The staff is helpful. The breakfast is very good. The room is small. The environment is very noisy. The noise could last until 2 or 3 o'clock in the morning. There were some drunk people in the hotel. I think this could be because of world cup.

Hotel with easy access to all that the city center has to offer. The hotel is charming, room was clean and remarkably quiet, and the guy who checked us in was fantastic and very friendly. I highly recommend this hotel!
