The room was spotless and lovely ( thank you, Hayley), but the corridors leading to it? They were airless, outdated and felt grubby. This is such a shame, as everything else was lovely. The Green emergency light in the room is very bright, but could this be sheltered, without affecting its use?

This type of accommodation is why I love to stay at less corporate type places. It was different, comfortable and had lovely decor. But by far the best part was the wonderful young lady who was serving breakfast, she was friendly and kept me topped up with coffee while I worked. It is the first time I have ever nipped to the loo only to come back to a full cup of coffee without asking. What a lovely surprise. I am so sorry I have forgotten her name but I will never forget her excellent service.
