The price you pay for good views is an uphill trudge to reach the hotel, but it is still only 20 minutes or so from Freedom Square. Helpful staff and a good breakfast. Great to have a pod machine in the room but an odd choice of pods - Earl Grey tea or vanilla-flavoured coffee

About Sololaki is a lovely hotel with everything you need to make your stay in Tbilisi great. The rooms were cleaned daily, with all amenities needed available instantly. The staff could not do enough for you, they were the nicest staff at hotel I have ever encountered and I will be staying again when I return to Tbilisi in the future.

It was clean and nice, the staff was amazing. The only thing was weird that that they did not have a refrigerator in the rooms, however the staff would store your refrigerated items and bring it to you whenever requested. Beds are comfortable, crispy clean sheets and bathrobes. Nice and clean bathroom. You can walk down to Old Tbilisi and you can take a taxi back for about $2 if you don't want to hike up to the hotel. The complimentary breakfast buffet was amazing. Selection of hot and cold meats, potato, cheeses, fruits, breads, juices, coffee and whatever you can imagine they had on the buffet table. Great hotel and great staff. Would definitely visit again. Highly recommended.
