10/10 Exceptional

In the heart of Downtown (Centro) of Guayaquil, so may things are here and in walking distance, came by multiple times to drop off shopping. Place was spacious, had a mini fridge, a tv, as well as soap and shampoo. Was very comfortable, my only slight complaint is that the walls are pretty thin, you can hear the neighbors music and speaking, however, everything else was good and I'd stay here again in the future! Thank you Guayaquil 💜

I had a great stay here. I thought the traffic noise would be too loud but I slept like a baby. I get the pleasure of staying here again in three weeks.

4/10 Fair

FIRST, the Hotel el Dorado is not a hotel . This place is an hostel located at 246 Avenida Olmedo y Chile. The pictures, if once upon a time was a hotel, do not belong to this place. The exterior as well as the interior are not what was advertised. SECOND. The place do not have hot water, the rooms are very hot and without ventilation with no place where to put your belongings. The bathroom of the room not place to put anything. The street facing are very noisy. If this wasn't a reservation already done since May and it was the high season for hotels, I wouldn't have stayed.
