The staff were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay . The accommodation is all being updated with new bathrooms and redecoration , however this did not impact on our stay . Our room is yet to be updated but was very comfortable with a plentiful supply of tea, coffee and biscuits . The food in the Dog and Gun next door was very good,and again the staff were lovely . A fabulous visit and we will be back again next year .

Ideal location for a trip to the Moors

Ideal location for visit to Yorkshire Moors. We were at a wedding, but took advantage of a long weekend break and were not disappointed. Room was great, perhaps a little dated but clean and very comfortable. Pub next door was perfect for breakfast and dinner on our first night

Hotel is in beautiful surroundings. The connecting pub next door was amazing and served a really nice breakfast in the morning . Staff were really helpful and overall really enjoyed our stay. Some parts in the rooms a little dated and worn (mainly in the bathroom) but rooms were spotless and beds were nice and comfy and had a great nights sleep. Would definitely stay again.

Within easy reach of the heritage railway at Oxenhope and Howarth, a range of good pubs, places to eat and visit. The pool and sauna are great for relaxing after a good walk over the moors. I used this property to visit family in the area we went self catering it was very quiet in feb had the sauna and pool to ourselves all the cooking utensils were more than adequate small kichen dining room and spiral staircase to loft bedroom with low beams very warm and cozy would definitely use again out of season
