The hotel is in an excellent location. Very close to downtown, easy walk to train, safe area, close to everything The staff are excellent. Two young men were extremely helpful with dinner recommendations, directions and making you welcome. Air conditioning was great. They allowed me to place cheese in a refrigerator behind desk which was greatly appreciated. I would recommend this property. The room is not fancy but had everything I needed. Bathroom was tiny but had storage space and clean.

I had seen reviews that the rooms were small. Ours was a nice size and very comfortable. The staff was great, especially the young man at check-in. He was welcoming and helpful with getting around town and finding places to eat. The hotel is close to the cathedral which is a must to see! They do use an old fashioned room key so be sure and lock your room door once inside with the key. Breakfast was really good. It is a quant hotel that we enjoyed and very close, within easy walking to most things. The railroad station is about 12 minutes and a little uphill toward the end, or longer with heavy suitcases. We would stay again.

This is a lovely hotel about a ten minute walk from the train station. The young man greeted us and provided a city guide. He also recommended an Italian restaurant (Patanella) which was excellent. The room is just large enough to be comfortable. Shower has plenty of hot water and water pressure. And, since the high is 97 degrees today, the air conditioning works perfectly. Breakfast was included. They also offer laundry service for 20 euro. They give you a vert large duffel bag and will wash/fold everything in the bag. I gave it to them this morning and they said it would be ready this evening. A great hotel, location and price.

Cons: the bathroom door was broken, we could not open or close it properly because it’s a barn door on a broken rail. Black mold in the shower, the walls were dirty and the curtains were not attached to the rod correctly (grandson fixed it.). Front desk was told and although they couldn’t do anything about the issues that evening, we were told that we would be given two rooms (there were 3 of us) the next day. Pros: we were given much nicer rooms the next day. The people were considerate, kind and apologetic for the issues. Other: the hot water tank or boiler went out our 3rd night there. Not their fault and it was fixed within 24 hours. The free breakfast was fine and varied each day. It’s difficult to judge breakfast’s since everyone has their own tastes. The hotel is 2 blocks from the cathedral and plenty of restaurants.
