This is a lovely hotel - we would definitely stay here again. It’s very peaceful and has such a beautiful courtyard. Athens, like most large cities, is crowded, noisy, and grimy so please don't be put off by the non "touristy" location. Once you step through their door you are in another world. NOT Hotel is like an oasis in the urban landscape. You are one block from a metro station and can easily go anywhere you like but still have a quiet, comfortable, relaxing space at the end of the day. If you don't feel like venturing out, the courtyard/pool areas are lovely, their bar is well stocked, and the food is fabulous. Perhaps their greatest asset is the staff...they are all absolutely outstanding. They really made us feel at home and were incredibly friendly and helpful. We neither needed nor wanted for anything during our stay. We can't imagine staying anywhere else when we return to Greece.

This property was the highlight of our trip to Athens. Every detail is thoughtfully mastered. The staff was beyond amazing and made us feel so special. It was a quick walk (10 min) on a path to old town and the base of the Parthenon. It had incredible views of the Acropolis from the room and restaurant.
