We loved the experience of staying at Casa Martini. It was a great spot, not far from the train station and close to the Grand Canal. From the moment we arrived, which was earlier than checkin, Alberto graciously welcomed us and was most helpful with information on Venice. We so appreciated his knowledge of restaurants and how to get around. The hotel is a small, quant environment with lots of character and a wonderful oasis after fighting the crowds all day. We would highly recommend staying here and hope to return one day.

Casa martini Cleanliness: 4/5 Service: 3/5 Comfort: 4/5 Noise: 2/5 Overall: Overall a clean hotel, however, there are a few things here that are atypical of a hotel. The extended review... Cleanliness: 4/5 - Clean towels and linens. Service: 3/5 - Reception is only there for 4 hours, between 830-1230. My initial interaction with them was also a little curt. Comfort: 3/5 - The beds were firm which is how I like it. The ac was nice and strong but know that the bed covering over the sheets are a bit thin so it can get cold. One of the rules is that you can’t eat in the rooms. Parts of the bathroom were in need of repair: towel hook fell off the wall, the floor metal transition was sticking up, and the vanity looked like it was falling. Noise: 2/5 - If you want to sleep in, you may end up hearing the cleaners through the thin walls. Thankfully it wasn’t that early.

The location of Casa Martini is approximately 6 minute walk from train station and Vaparetto stops. The location is also close to many restaurants in the area. Our only interaction with staff was at the front desk. They were very kind and informative. The hotel is old and has much character. Our room was large and comfortable.
