Excellent location for walking in Old Town (though it makes for some party noise late in the night)! Breakfast was excellent. Friendly staff spoke helpful English. Wish I’d ask for a top sheet; comforter only was too hot.

This hotel is in a great location as it is close to a lot of the main Sites- because of its locality, unfortunately it was quite noisy as there were bars and restaurants around which stayed open late- noise at all hours - did not get much sleep. The breakfasts were great for a small hotel. The rooms were quite generous in size. No television in rooms (missed this on the accomodation site). Safe in room- but they could not find the key. Great restaurant next door attached to restaurant.

Location was amazing. Just down alleyway to main square where the Astronomical Clock is. Great breakfast--usual European style with meats, cheeses, yogurt/mix ins. Scrambled eggs, bacon always available. Great breads and pastries. Room comfortable, clean, and spartan. Only issues were safe didn't work, and hand-held shower was in a tub with no enclosure where you had to kneel/sit or maybe you could stand and be very careful not to spray everywhere. Again, fairly typical old European style bathroom, but not ideal for us 65 couple w bad knees.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Rooms were clean, spacious, well-equipped and we lucked out and had a terrace right off our room. The Astronomical Clock was a two minute walk away, and the Charles Bridge was less than ten. We thoroughly recommend the Hotel Dar for a family stay.

Sijainti loistava, rauhallinen pikkukatu, mutta aivan keskellä. Tilat olivat siistit, perusaamiainen riittävän monipuolinen. Ainoa paha miinus oli ns. lentokenttäkuljetus. Sovimme henkilökunnan kanssa että maksamme kortilla, mutta se ei sopinut kuskille, vain käteinen. Vaatimani kuitti luvattiin lähettää sähköpostiin, ei ole tullut. Kuljetus oli lähes kaksi kertaa kalliimpi kuin mytransfer, jolla tulimme kentältä.

Uriges Hotel mitten in der Altstadt

Einfaches aber schönes und sauberes Zimmer, leckeres Frühstück im urigen Gewölbekeller und einer kleinen aber feinen Dachterrasse, die auch zum Frühstück genutzt werden kann. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Für einen Kurzurlaub in Prag, die beste Wahl.

Schlecht: TV Defekt. 1. Tag kein warmes Wasser 3. Tag wurde Zimmer vergessen zu reinigen. Und die extreme Lautstärke jeden morgen gegen 6:00 - 7:00 Uhr vom Nachbargebäude. :GUT: Alle Reklamationen wurden, bis auf den defekten TV sofort behoben. Sauberkeit, Frühstück war Super.

Uiterst onvriendelijke receptionist

Ik ben echt nog nooit zo ongeïnteresseerd en onvriendelijk "te woord" gestaan als door de mannelijke receptionist van het hotel. We kwamen te vroeg aan (om 10 uur) omdat we een vroege vlucht hadden. Ik wilde alleen vragen of we alvast onze tas mochten achter laten bij de receptie. Kregen letterlijk een op zijn horloge tikkende boze jongeman te zien; 12 uur! Zei hij. En maakte met handen een ga weg gebaar. Toch nog snel even gevraagd voor onze tas Hij wees naar de hoek. Om 12 uur, ik dacht geef het de voordeel van de twijfel..kom vriendelijk binnen en zeg Goedemiddag daar zijn we weer... Name? Oke geen Goedemiddag of iets. Bij vertrek weigerde hij een taxi te bellen voor ons. Daar is de telefoon... ja maar ik weet geen nummer.. gewoon ruzie moeten maken om een taxi. Uiteindelijk belde hij hem. Ik heb hem netjes bedankt en vroeg of ik tijdens wachten nog even naar het toilet kon ( zat op slot) antwoord: nee. Ga maar in je kamer. Ik had uitgecheckt?! Sleutel vd kamer werd op de counter gelegd zonder iets te zeggen. Toch maar snel terug naar boven gegaan in de hoop dat ik de taxi niet zou missen.... Waardeloos!!! Hebben hier een naar gevoel aan over gehouden. Durfde tussentijds niet eens te vrsgenof hij een restaurant kon aanraden. Vond hij vast fijn, kon hij verder met zijn film.
