The room was comfortable and absolutely fine with a decent wifi connection. The trouble though is that there was literally no customer service nor hostel interaction. I arrived to find access to the place was locked and had received no instructions as to how to access my room. Staff at the bar next door (who may be linked to the hostel) accessed a key safe and gave me my keys but dread to think what would have happened had they not been there. On checking out- again there were no staff nor instructions as to what to do with the room keys and I assumed that I should leave them where they had been left but behind the door there was a place to deposit them. All in all, not good enough.

Excellent hotel, near harbour ,town and Castle.

Good value, exceptionally clean. Linen and towels changed every day. The bar downstairs is cheap but good quality. Very welcoming any time of day, don't expect greasy fry-up.The bar is Spanish and the lady who runs it is friendly and welcoming. The hotel is walking distance to the castle, there is a large supermarket near by. Everything is within walking once you find your way through the narrow streets. I did visit in November when it is quiet but expect the hotel would be very lively and enjoyable in season. I would like to return then .

Einfach, freundlich und ruhig in zentrale Lage.

Sehr freundliche Atmosphäre im Hostal. Nett eingerichtetes Zimmer, sauber ruhig und zentral gelegen.Sehr zu empfehlen. Wer mag, kann unten drinnen im Barraum preiswert frühstücken. Nur Vorsicht, Parken in der Straße kann Strafzettel nach sich ziehen !

Don't go if you are looking for comfort.

Beds were very uncomfortable. Sheets very thin. Shower water was either too hot or too cold and could not regulate it. Shower very small and cramped. No lift in the building. For the price I would have expected a lot better.. Would not recommend it to anyone.

Great value - Fantastic location

My wife and I got a room for 30 euros. The room was clean, air conditioned and there was free wifi. The shower was hot. The location was excellent, a 5 minute walk to the centre of Denia. Absolutely nothing to complain about here.

Extremt lyhört, inget för den som behöver nattsömn

Centralt och billigt, men fruktansvärt lyhört. Ett gäng ungdomar på vår våning festade halva första natten, det lät som om de var inne hos oss. Vi påtalade problemet för hotelledningen, som skulle tala med ungdomarna. De två påföljande nätterna var bättre, men vi vaknade varje gång någon på våningen kom hem till sitt rum. Fjärde natten var det fest igen, så då bytte vi hotell.

Wifi that works consistenly

The room was excellent for the cost. I would have appreciated more assistance from the staff and a local map with points of interest. The staff would not let me leave my backpack after checkout although my ferry wasn't for four hours. I was told to leave it in the bar downstairs but it was closed. The room though was clean, comfortable, with wifi that actually worked consistently and for only $20 EU.

Para el precio que pagué no esperaba más. Habitación correcta. lo peor es que abajo está el bar y hubo gente dando ruido hasta altas horas de la madrugada. Supongo que será eventual, sólo estuve una noche. Para mayores estancias no lo recomendaría.

Excellent location, very central to everything. Very limited English spoken, but then so is my Spanish, but there are people in the Hotel who do speak it so its very good all round.
