Hotel location was hard to find, lady staff was rude to my driver and unhelpful, we wasted quite a lot of time driving up and down on holly and narrow street, my driver even hit the back of his 4x4car. Not until I called and personally spoke to the hotel again then they sent a staff to our lost location and showed us the way to the hotel. The staff was very helpful and polite so was the gentleman owner was very welcoming. I’d a good but short sleep as has to leave at 3.40 for Tiger hill. The gentleman owner and his staff kindly assist me to my next driver of the day.

Great location, very pleased to have a room heater at no extra charge. Kitchen struggled to serve breakfast at appointed time, or as ordered, or even to open the dining room and turn on the lights by 8 am. Some of it was language issues, some was poor communication between reception and kitchen. The hotel is a bit creaky, but you could call it character. I enjoyed my stay.

I stayed 2 delightful nights at the Ivanhoe. Your managers couldnt have been more helpful and thoughtful. The old part of the hotel is far nicer than the new annex. I stayed in a cosy room ( Col Sir Younghusband )with a fireplace, surrounded by thoughts on who had graced these rooms in the past. A place with a lot of character and lovely staff. Home away from Home

Ivanhoe is a real gem in a crowded hotel market in Darjeeling. Takes you back to the British colonial Era. will always be my first choice at Darjeeling.

The friendliest welcome ever

We booked this hotel for its heritage and its connection to various historical figures. What we hadn't counted on was such a warm welcome. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble, and when we were asked what we would like for breakfast on the evening before, we requested some things that weren't on their breakfast menu (We hadn't seen it at that point)and they went out and bought them specially. We honestly cannot wait to visit again.

ダージリンの中心地であるチョウラスターの裏手で3分ほどの距離にあり、ハッピー・バレー・ティーガーデンにも比較的近い立地にあります。 内装はまさに英国の別荘地のような雰囲気があり、それだけでも楽しい気持ちになれます。 また、チェックアウトの際にお水を2本頂けたり(この時偶々かもしれませんが)と、色々と親切にしていただきました。 日本人もよく泊まりに来るとのことなので、インドのホテルに慣れない日本人にとっても利用しやすいホテルかと思います。
