A delightfully out of the way B&B.Set in excellent gardens, it is an efficiently run house, with helpful and charming staff. Breakfast is served by waitresses, there is no self service arrangement - which makes a nice change. However if you find steep stairs difficult, do remember to let them know beforehand- there is no lift. We left feeling extremely glad to have stayed at such a very individual place. Most definitely memorable

Brilliant stay, highly recommend What a lovely place. It’s a proper family home that goes back centuries and you can really feel that when you’re there. The staff were so friendly and nothing felt too much trouble. The food was great and the beds were incredibly comfortable, we had the best night’s sleep. Beautiful setting too. We’ll definitely be back.

What a delightful stay at a lovely place. The grounds are so peaceful and the views are great too. The food was delicious and high quality. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only disappointment were the selfish guests who insisted on bringing their dogs into the breakfast room. The dogs snapped and snarled at each other and the owners then fed them bits from their plates. Not what you want to sit next to at breakfast.

We visited this hotel back in September 2024 everyone was so welcoming the hotel is beautiful with breathtaking grounds and views! We decided to come back as a memory and we were fortunate enough to stay in the exact same room as last time which was very sentimental to us!! The breakfast was delicious with such a huge choice of selection The staff are lovely as well as the owners who are very welcoming and friendly!! A most enjoyable, peaceful, one night stay, wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the grounds. We were in one of the oldest, original, parts of the house, but everything was tastefully up to date and very clean. All the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly.
