Great hotel in Arugam Bay but what makes it memorable is Subu and his staff. Every request is quickly dealt with and no matter how busy the are, Subu always has time to have a little chat. The hotel is finishing the renovations so our room was missing a few things but it didn't matter at all because you're just taken by the laid back atmosphere of the place. Subu arranged the surf lessons with Sawmy and that was a great experience too. I would definitely recommend the hotel

Excellent Stay

Excellent stay, large clean comfortable room with balcony. Very friendly staff with local knowledge and contacts to book surf lessons. Lovely pool onsite and a short walk to the beach front which means the resort is nice and quiet. Overall a great stay would highly recommend. Thank you

There is ongoing work to improve the hotel. The pool is round the back but didn't use it. Breakfast was good. It was quiet season so think we were the only ones staying so unfair to judge too harshly. There was a wasp nest a few metres from the room but didn't worry us as it is Sri Lanka after all. Staff were very friendly.

Great spot with large clean rooms and comfy beds, nice pool (needs some more furniture and shade but I’m sure it’s happening as the place seems newish) and great staff. Everyone is so friendly and accommodating and it’s a quick walk to everything.

Finding quality accommodation for a family in Arugam Bay is tricky. While this hotel is new and has good sized Family Rooms with balconies, service and other facilities are mediocre. Staff are unorganised, pool was not very clean, had to ask for wifi and tv to be fixed. On checkout, was told ‘card machine was not working’ - and we would have to pay in cash. This is a common ‘scam’ in Sri Lanka - the hotel wants to avoid the card fees from the bank, which I do understand. Overall an ‘ok’ stay but not great.
