This hotel was older, but had old charm with a revolving door and big sitting room and friendly staff. Location was less than 2 minute walk to Neptune fountain square so very central to restaurants, markets, shopping, site seeing. We arrived by train and had about 20 minute walk. Some things you should know: our twin beds in Room 107 were uncomfortable- felt like old box springs poking me from the 1960s. After second night, I took off sheets to look at mattress and it had small fastener (like end of a shoelace) and that may have been what caused my discomfort. I told staff on check-out and they said they would have housekeeping check it out.
Unfortunately, Room 107 was also very noisy (outside). No window panes, so noise just came on in. There was a large protest that ended up with violence and injuries so that night was miserable with the noise and helicopters etc. Suggest if stay here, ask for room with window to front side of hotel perhaps.
