Great location and value for money

We stayed at Hostal Oriente for 3 nights and we really liked it. The location was fantastic, in walking distance of everything to see in Madrid. The value for money was also excellent in comparison to other local hotels. The staff were very friendly and approachable, they asked us if we needed recommendations and answered any questions we had about our stay. Overall, we’d definitely recommend.

Location of hotel is excellent: Opera metro station just a few steps away and you just need to walk 5 blocks to get to the Plaza El Sol and Plaza Mayor. Cute hotel in the middle of the old town of space, walking distance from El Mercado de San Miguel and the plaza mayor. We loved having a small balcony to looked out at the quarter but it is just very loud and people don’t go to bed until two in the morning. If you are willing to stay up, this is a great small hotel at a decent price.
