Room was very clean. Staff was very nice at check-in and really went out of their way to make the room special for our honeymoon.
However, at checkout, we asked for a 30 minute extension and that was refused. You would think they could be slightly flexible because 30 minutes would have made the biggest difference.
They also did not have a a safe place to keep our baggage. We see this occasionally in Asia and it does not make western travelers feel very safe. I was just expected to leave all of my luggage in the lobby and their response was that there is a camera but if somebody wants to take something, it’s going to be long gone even if a Camera is able to spot the person.
Lastly, we came back after a day of walking around and tried to lay at the pool and we’re told that we could not use the daybed because they were cleaning up to get ready for dinner. It’s a little frustrating as a guest of the hotel, not to be able to use the beds next to the pool at any time- particularly 5:30pm.
