We enjoyed our stay here very much. Hotel is within walking distance to the main city square. We didn’t use the restaurant so cannot comment on the food or service. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable.

A good over bight stop

Very helpful staff, amazing location and stunning building. Garage was very tight to get car in so if you have a big vehicle be warned. Staff didn't speak much English, but not an issue, but might be to others

Room smelt of cigarettes

On arriving it looked lovely. We went in our room, at first we couldnt smell anything bad as the cleaners had sprayed to camouflage the smell of smoke. The next day we woke up ,the room smelt disgusting of cigarettes. We asked to be moved. Unfortunately the new room did not have a balcony. We asked reception for compensation as we had lost half a day messing around and moving rooms. The manager was not helpful. He was very rude , more or less, telling us to go. Wouldn't go there again. I wouldn't recommend you stay here. Pool dated and dirty around the edges. Food was awful.

La estancia fue correcta, pero el personal nocturno de recepción intentó efectuar el cobro de la reserva a través de la tarjeta que dimos para confirmarla en la app de Expedia. Por la mañana, intentaron justificarse diciendo que ellos cobran la reserva el día antes (algo cuando menos curioso en una reserva que se anuncia expresamente como "reserva ahora y paga en el hotel"). Habría entendido que la cobrasen en el momento del check-in, como en tantos otros hoteles en que he estado, pero no que lo hiciesen de madrugada y contar hasta 4 intentos. En resumen, un comportamiento muy poco propio de un hotel 5 estrellas, con normas como poco curiosas, si no discutibles, y que me hizo sentir como un pobre diablo del que desconfían hasta ese extremo. Espero que traten mejor al resto de clientes, porque a mí ya me han perdido como tal (y como prescriptor en mi entorno).

Schönes stilvolles Hotel mit angenehmen Zimmern. Einiges müsste mal renoviert bzw. repariert werden, aber ansonsten ruhig trotz der Zentralität. In wenigen Minuten zu Fuß in der Fußgängerzone und den Sehenswürdigkeiten. Im Sommer ist Salamanca schon ordentlich heiß aber das Hotel ist gut gekühlt.
