The staff on the front desk could not have been more helpful, a credit to the hotel. Also while the pool and the deck on the roof are small, they are INVALUABLE when you want to relax in the middle of the city. My room only had a window into the internal courtyard, but there was a walkway between the window and the open space, which meant people could walk by and see in, so had to keep the curtains mainly drawn. This is the only reason it's not a 5 star review, it's really a 4.8. Location is super convenient for much of the old town too.

I stayed here for the F1 race in Barcelona and the hotel was conveniently located to both the city sites and shops and near local transportation. It was quiet at night for being in the Gothic quarter, very clean, great air conditioning to come back to after very hot days, friendly staff and well priced. Great hotel in a really central location. Although check in wasn't as smooth as we would have like and 2 of 3 rooms were ready (we were earlier than check-in) there were 3 in each room and the rooms were a really good size. The cafe/snack bar in reception was reasonably priced too. You could also get a kettle for your room. Minutes away from shops, bars and restaurants too.
