Cockroach Infestation

This place is INFESTED with cockroaches. We found 3 cockroaches in our room for a 1-night stay… 2 of them being HUGE and alive. There’s also cockroaches everywhere around the property.

Not what I expected.

I was disappointed with the stay. The room was advertised as a suite however, it was just a standard room with two beds. The walkways could have been cleaner cigarette butts and ash were on the floor. The biggest disappointment was the pool was closed and was going to be demolished. If I would have known that, I would not have booked my stay there.

The staff is very friendly. However, we did not stay at this property. The minute we got there we felt unsafe. There are many homeless wondering on the property. There is limited parking. The area surrpunding the hotel is not the best. Just could not get out of there quick enough.

The check in man was not happy to be at work that day. We walked to our room as it was being cleaned. WREAKED of cigarettes. Had so many people looking in our window and very loud. It was just a horrible experience.

Room was ok for a Motel 6. A little run down but the bed was fine and it was reasonably clean. The worst was the smell. Combination of cleaning product and something else (mold?). I had to open the window for a couple hours to lessen it.

Price was good. They do their best to detour the homeless hanging round. Lots of cameras and well lit around the building, but still lots of them hanging around. One man, under the influence, was leaning our door when we opened it and we had to yell at him to leave. Very clean room. Updated and clean bathroom. TV worked. Had wifi. Hair dryer tried to work, but it was on it's way out. Great size fridge and yhey included dish towels, which was nice. Great AC and friendly staff.

Didn’t feel safe. The elevator is filthy. The outdoor space is not upkeep. Noisy X10. Not safe for families. Pool is not open, it looks disgusting. Had to check out early, even though I reserved for a few days, I was traveling with my son and it didn’t feel safe.

Stay here only if this is your only option. While the staff are friendly this place is to be avoided. The area is rife with the local homeless and drug users. If your really lucky they will be camped outside your door. I checked out two days early. Definitely not somewhere to stay if you are travelling with children
