8/10 Very good

Basic but a good price. Comfy beds after a day out

It was central and about a 10 minute walk to Holborn or Russell Sq tubes. The beds were nice and comfy. We had a lovely powerful shower. The hotel could do with some tlc but for the price we paid it was fine. The guy on reception on the annexe was super helpful
Adrienne, 3-night trip

8/10 Very good

The receptionist was most welcoming on arrival and informative. I was able to store my luggage until my room was ready so I could carry on with my day. The reception was open 24 hours a day so I didn't have to worry about my return time. The only negative was, there was a kettle in my room but no coffee or milk.
Lisa, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

Prepare to be disappointed. Single room in the basement. Awful. Uncomfortable bed. Noisy. Poor bathroom. Creepy. The location is good and it's cheap. That's all.
John, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

I really enjoyed my night, the heating system is working fine unlike others around i have used. Keep the flag flying at the top
Michael, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

Dreadful - unacceptable

The toilet didn’t work except spayed out water everywhere and the shower was leaking from the valve and shower hose was split
Michael, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Very conveniently placed hotel, and very well equiped.
Vaikkun, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Hotel is dated but in a very convenient location for kings Cross abd exploring London. We only went to the hotel to sleep so it wasn't an issue
Brian, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

good value, bit tired
Steve, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

We got what we paid for but seriously this place needs a lot of renovating. Seemed a safe area and close to the train station.
Marwen, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Friendly and helpful service. Last minute booking at budget hotel so I was happy with my stay.
Peter, 1-night trip

4/10 Fair

I booked a single room at a hotel; it was my mistake for not confirming whether I would have my own bathroom. I just assumed any single room, at a hotel (not a hostel), would have its own bathroom. But apparently, standards are lower in England. I had to pay around £6 to store my luggage for a few hours after checkout.
1-night trip

6/10 Good

O.K. stay for 2 nights. Room had a slight problem in that the window was drafty - it didn't fir in the frame well - & no double glazing, making the room a bit cold. Shower was very small thoguh I managed. In room wifi was o.k.
Richard, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

Overall - clean & warm

The staff were pleasant and helpful, the room and bathroom were clean however, the carpet had not been vacuumed in a long time and I did not wish to tread bare foot around the room. Also, the beds were not very comfy and both us felt the springs in the mattress.
Fiona, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

Dirty room, no towells, and receptionist was unprofessional.
Ruslan, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Convenient for short stays. The room was satisfactorily clean but the stairs getting to the room, not so much.
Jackie, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

I stayed in room 17 which was cheap but at a cost. The basement room had an issue with a poorly draining sink and shower, so taps could only be run for a few seconds. Batteries for tv remote were dead. Overall good value for the price despite sacrificing some comfort.
John, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Simple hotel, not too many bells and whistles. Just a friendly hotel conveniently close to St Pancras.
Rutger, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Decent rooms with the affordable price in Central London and the staff were good. I didn't have the bed bug problem as someone said in the review comments. Had good sleep and it is close to British Museum.
Revathy, 4-night trip

4/10 Fair

Trash from previous guest, balcony littered with cigarette butts, half opened multiple toilet papers, Booked 2 single beds cause I was with my brother but it was a double bed. Then online check out is started as 11 but on ground told it was 10. then was told by the check-in staff that I could leave my luggage on ground if I checked out. At check out was told this was a stashed place so had to pay
Oghenekovie, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Plenty of beds for family. Easy walk to British Museum. Lacked heat and breakfast.
Steven, 2-night trip

2/10 Poor

Worst experience ever.

The room smelt musty. Shower curtain smelt awful. TV didnt work. Asked the reception if she knew the place which I needed to get to. She was rude didnt even look at me and said google it. Couldnt sleep under covers because kept getting pricked on my legs. Couldnt wait to leave. 9 hours was enough.
Sharon, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Great little hotel in central London. As other people mention it’s not quite the ritz , but it’s very good for the price. A little run down, but if you are spending your day out in London you won’t really mind. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would stay again.
Andrew, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Over night due to meetings on two days. Hotel central to meetings.
Ian, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

Poor

The room was dirty, no light shade, mattress was old and lumpy, pillows were the same. Very dated, carpet was dirty and i didnt want to walk on it. Had it been for more than one night we would definitely have checked in somehwere else.
Gemma, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Good enough

Perfect location. Old hotel but it’s good enough for a few days. Got clean towels when we asked for it. Not really any complains.
