Excellent hotel very close to the airport and a short ~10 minute walk from the main strip and ~20 minutes from the nearest beach. Staff is very friendly and they do a great job cleaning the rooms daily and making you feel at home. The room was pretty sensitive to outside noise but it gets silent outside around 10:00 pm so it’s not an issue for sleeping. Brightness is an issue however, But I had an eye mask so it didn’t bother me. Shower was hot with good pressure. Definitely recommend this hotel.

My room and the rest of the property was kept very clean. The host was very friendly and helpful. She even let us wash our very muddy shoes in a tub outside and put them in the sun to dry. The hosts were exceptional. They were extremely helpful and patient when educating us on our options for entertainment and adventure on the island. The hotel facilities were basic but very comfortable, very clean and everything worked. Monica was an amazing host and helped in every way to make our stay enjoyable. Aircon, free drinking water and T&C, fridge and facilities to prepare breakfasts and did our laundry. Comfortable bed. 10 mins walk from the airport, and close to the main shops and seal nursery. The service far outweighed the slightly dated decor. Good value, and would stay again.

Hotel Islas Galapagos was the perfect spot for my boyfriend and I on our trip to the Galapagos. The room was clean, modern, and very comfortable. The hotel was located close enough to the downtown area that we could walk to all of the restaurants and shops. Also, the lady that owns the hotel was incredibly kind and accommodating to what we needed and even allowed us to check in a little early so we could put our bags down after we arrived from the ferry. The only suggested improvement I would say is that the shower was built to be a walk in shower, but the shower head sprayed too far away from the wall causing water to get everywhere in the bathroom, but it was easily cleanable with towels. As two people who were looking for a place to lay our heads with A/C to keep us cool. This was just the place.

The hotel was easy to find by Apple Maps, walking distance from airport, 15 minutes. The room was clean, loud outside noises, no tv, no fridge, loud creeky floors, no water pressure, and no security box or safe. I probably would try another hotel next time

4 night stay- great value

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. We had a super clean room, crisp white sheets, instant hot water shower, and an AC unit. It was one of the cheapest options, so it was a great value stay. It is located right next to the Katarma hotel and an easy walk to everything. The owner speaks little English but tries very hard and uses her translator on her phone. We used the savings on excursions and nice meals. I would call this place a steal for the price.

Solid and safe place to stay

This is centrally located between the Malecón and the airport and was away from the noise of the strip at night. The main lady that runs it speaks limited English but is super friendly and very charming. The shower only had one temperature and the bed was a little hard to lay in for too long but if you’re looking for a stable place to stay while you focus on being out during the day then this is an excellent option to consider. I return to San Cristobal for my flight out and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

I enjoyed my stay here. The room itself is very basic but for the 3 days I was on the island it had everything I needed:hot water to shower, good wifi, filtered water to fill a bottle with and air conditioning. They also have a smart TV in the room which is a nice touch but I was too exhausted every day to ever use it. The other nice bonus was a small coffee/tea station and a microwave in the lobby common space. My tours all left early so it was nice to be able to grab some bread and fruit from the panaderia and have a little breakfast with the provided coffee even before I left. The people who run the hotel are all very nice and helpful. The only downside I could find is if you're a light sleeper and like to sleep in later this might not be the place for you. Around 6-7 am every day you could hear trucks buses outside that were quite loud. For me it wasnt a problem because I was up for my tours anyways. Overall a good stay for the price!
