Desde que llegamos el staff muy atento y muy limpio todo el lugar. Nos encanto la laberca tipo cueva, como llovia, igual pudimos disfrutar de las amenidades.

El hotel boutique está súper lindo, nos sorprendí bastante la casona, la alberca y vapor que tienen está bien agradable. La terraza de la habitación y la regadera lo máximo. Me gustó mucho.

I strongly advise AGAINST staying here - No hot water in the showers. - Slow service. - We had paid to include breakfast, received a menu and ordered. 10 minutes later the waiter says that not all items was on the “prepaid” breakfast menu. So we had to order once again resulting in us having to wait for ages for our food. - The valet parker was mysteriously gone in the morning and we had to walk to collect our car. I reached out to the hotel regarding our experience but didn’t even hear back from them…

The hotel is exactly as described, the layout of rooms around the pool & seating areas surrounded by lush planting & trees is beautiful & very relaxing. Our room was spacious, comfortable & very private. We chose the Sutuk over other hotels because of the valet parking for our hire car - it was slightly further from the main square but this meant that we did not have to navigate the one way system through the town. Taxis were cheap & easy to find when we didn’t want to walk in the evenings. However, our stay was made more perfect by the helpfulness & friendliness of all the staff, and the very high standard of food (best guacamole ever). Highly recommended!

We had a room in the far back of the hotel with a small terrace and an outdoor bathing pool. The room was beautiful, comfortable and very quiet. Great air-conditioning. The hotel restaurant was amazing. Food was great and the staff-the best. We had an excellent stay and would highly recommend the hotel. It is a short taxi ride into town.

A lovely little boutique hotel

Hotel Sutuk is a lovely little boutique hotel located on the outskirts of Valladolid. The central courtyard is a lush garden of tropical plants surrounding a little pool, and the 8 rooms are large with very high ceilings. We appreciated the restrained and luxurious update to the original, historic building. We also really enjoyed the subterranean swimming pool modeled after a cenote and heated to a comfortable temperature. It's a great place to relax after a day exploring the area on foot. A special shout out to Perla who seemed to run the place single-handedly on New Year's Day. She is a real asset to the hotel. Where the hotel could improve is in the restaurant. It's good but not great. As one little example, they don't offer any white wines by the glass, only red. The prix fixe New Year's Eve dinner was steak and a half a baked potato served just above room temperature (not hot), with a garnish of a couple little batons of steamed carrot and a floret of cauliflower that were coated in an oil that left an unpleasant aftertaste. No need to belabor this lack of imagination. It did not diminish our overall experience, and we heartily recommend the hotel.
