Clean and functional, rooms on the small side but not too cramped. Breakfast is small on options but tasty and not overly expensive. Free hot drinks in reception for your stay is a nice touch.

10/10 Exceptional

Stayed at B&B Mechelen several times now, always clean and well presented as a hotel. Staff are always great and willing to help. The only thing that I would mark it down on is having to pay €15 euros a day to park, maybe its common in Belgium.

I have consistently used the B&B in Mechelen since it was new and have nothing more to say except that the level of cleanliness in the hotel has been maintained and is one of the first things that strikes you when entering. Staff always welcoming and efficient.

A Couple of Days in Mechelen

Friendly, helpful and efficient staff. A comfortable, clean room, pleasantly decorated. Tasty breakfast. Mechelen is a lovely town and the hotel is near the centre and the station.

Only reasons not 5 stars are very small bathroom and no drawers to store clothes. Very friendly staff, extremely clean, and easy walking distance to many sites, restaurants, shops, etc.

Modern, newer hotel. Cleanliness and service are good, just the mattrass of the bed are a bit too hard for me.

10/10 Exceptional

Super clean and new place! And closest to the train station while still being walkable to the city center. And a breakfast that is superb. Most hotels would charge €30 for that breakfast that was given with the room. 5 stars all the way.

10/10 Exceptional

Almost brand new hotel, but a water leak meant access to the underground carpark was difficult. No tea/coffee in the room but there was a machine in reception available 24/7. Rooms were new, clean and comfortable. The area was quiet in a small town, but was ok.

Modern and clean

Basic, but modern and clean hotel. Good location with easy access to parking, both on the street and in the connecting garage. Service was very good from the staff, accommodating for gluten free options for my daughter at breakfast. I also liked the WhatsApp possibility for communication with the reception. Only minus for us staying for five days was that there was no fridge in the room, however I noticed that some other guests asked the staff to keep a few items for them in the fridge at the reception. Free coffee and tea in the reception all day, also a water dispenser with fresh, cold water, very appreciated. The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant except for breakfast service, but we could use the breakfast area, which is nice, for eating take-away/delivery food in the evening.
