Always a Great Time at Catch-More Resort. Our family had a great time on the pontoon boat fishing. Cottage was very clean and fresh. The host’s John and Mara are always there to help when you need it. See you next year.

We really enjoyed our stay at Catch More Resort. Very peaceful setting, loved being able to sit and look at the lake and listen to the birds. Liked the availability of the kayaks, canoes and swimming pool. Beds were very comfortable and we appreciated that we had our own fire pit, the wifi was great and there was lots of parking. Cottages are a little close together, but it wasn't an issue. Be prepared to bring your own Roku or laptop to connect to the TV. The only complaint is that the kitchen window desperately needed to be cleaned, it was full of cobwebs and dead bugs.

The cottages are great! Have everything you need to escape the city. We aren't big on fishing, but if you are, this place would be amazing for you. Fishing boats + an area for cleaning fish is available. The pool is great! The water is a little chilly, but a great reprieve on a hot day. The only negative is if you have a dog with you, there arent a ton of places to walk them that aren't just around other people's properties or a short drive away. But it was great to have ours in the yard with us. The beds are super comfortable - Endy mattresses, we were pleasantly surprised. The shower head position could use some work (a rainfall shower head would make more sense with the size of the shower), but thats as to be expected at a cottage. Would definitely book here again!

Our cottage was reasonably clean. It is rustic but we enjoyed our stay. The 3 queen beds were comfortable and nice pillows provided. Staff answered very quickly when I texted them. The kitchen was adequately stocked with dishes and utensils. Pool was very nice and location of cottage so close to the river was nice for fishing and kayaking and was beautiful! We enjoyed bonfires and barbecues. It is close enough to Campbellford to go on an outing and hike across the suspension foot bridge and get donuts from Doohers bakery. Cottage could use a bit of repair of the air conditioner and the door. Hopefully they will do that and make it 5 star.

We had a spectacular visit at Catch More Resort this August! The size was just right for a bigger family and we really loved that we could bring the dog too! The cabin itself (we stayed in cabin 4) was a bit more "rustic" than expected, and there were A LOT of cobwebs throughout, but nothing we couldn't handle. The kitchen, bathroom and shower were all clean and well stocked. It was nice to have kayaks and canoes available, but they might need some love and care, with some newer life jackets available, including some suitable for children. The playset also looks like its seen better days, but the kids enjoyed it and it didn’t impact their ability to have fun! We loved the pool!! It was the perfect size, and was well maintained. We also thought it was great that each cabin had its own fire pit and BBQ- so, so handy! I would suggest scrapping the old, cracked Adirondack chairs and tell guests to BYO chairs. Overall, we would definitely come again, but probably stay in one of the more updated cabins (1, 2 or 3). Thanks for a great few days!

This is a cute cottage! We arrived rather late so it was dark when we walked to it through the yard. The front door code was unnecessary, as the door wasn’t locked. The space was quaint and quite clean. The A/C worked great, needing to be turned down. Fortunately my son was tall enough to stand on my bed to reach the buttons, as I wasn’t able to. The beds were comfortable after a long day of driving. The kitchen was equipped with all necessary items. We only needed some cutlery, kettle, and the toaster. The property was located on a beautiful lake. The dock closest to our cabin was private, but there was another one further down that was available to fish off of. Beware of the sliding door on the bathroom-it fell off the track when my son was opening it and almost took out my other son. My oldest was able to place it back on the track, but it could have easily hurt someone. The games room looked better in the pictures. The Shuffleboard table had no sand on it, thus was unplayable. My kids enjoyed the Foosball table. We didn’t swim, but the water looked clean. It does look bigger in the pictures. We were unable to lock the deadbolt at night from the inside, nor the next day when we left for a time using the provided code. This misalignment is likely why it was not locked when we arrived. We chose to leave and stay elsewhere the 2nd night where there was a working lock. Overall, if the lock worked and the bathroom door didn’t fall off, I’d have given it 4 stars.
