Our stay exceeded our expectations - the room was clean, nicely decorated, and you cannot beat the view of the river right outside the windows. So peaceful, and a great location with close proximity to the downtown area of Bend. Easy instructions to get in and exit at the end of our stay, and will look to come back again next time we are visiting Bend.

Our 5 night stay was perfect! The communication from staff was pro-active, friendly and clear. The property was clean and very comfortable and the kitchen had everything you would need to cook decent meals. Room was quiet and the aircon worked great. Our dog loved the park next door to the property and the easy access to the path along the river. Town was an easy walk away, was lovely having such access to great restaurants and bars. Only slight negative was the water pressure in the bathroom, especially the sink was very low. Would absolutely stay again! We were in room 202, “May the Forest be with You”.

While it was handy to have a well-stocked kitchen, the unit we were in was not what we expected. The queen bed in the description was actually a (relatively uncomfortable) double, and there were only two thin blankets. The pool and hot tub were in need of serious cleaning or updating, and were in a ‘greenhouse’-type structure which made it so hot inside we couldn’t comfortably use them (in July), though I imagine it would be nice in winter. The proximity to the river and many lovely parks in Bend was great, though.

The Good Stuff: - great location, walkable and bike friendly - the AC was crucial during 100°+ days - the living room and kitchen were comfortable, clean, and well-equipped. - the balcony view of the river was nice. I enjoyed my morning coffee while listening to the Deschutes roaring below. The Not-Good Stuff: - the shower in the en-suite bathroom had not been cleaned, and looked like the previous guest had bathed a dog in it. There was hair and dirt everywhere. - the mattress wasn’t the worst I’ve slept on, but wasn’t exactly comfortable. The pillows were like loose sacks of cotton balls. - the bedroom was dusty and there were tumbleweeds of hair under the bed. Take-Away: - It’s an ok place to stay, but I don’t think it’s too much to expect a clean room and a comfortable bed. - I’d consider staying again, because the price and location were decent enough to outweigh the condition of the room. I’d bring my own pillow next time though.

Make sure you pay attention to the actual unit you are renting. The main listing photos were for a different unit than ours 321/322 which was pretty dated. Mold on the shower head, show floor stains, partially used paint cans on shelf, dog hair on bed sheets (when raised to staff they did promptly bring clean bedding). Curtains that didn't quite fit the window size causing light to come in. Great location and view, kitchen was well stocked with amenities. Not a bad place place for under $120 per night but was expecting much more value for the price we paid and felt like a bait-n-switch when looking at the listing images on Expedia which shows a modern new unit.
