The location is excellent — right in the heart of everything, which was definitely the highlight of my stay.
I booked a comfort room for two nights. While I understand that city rooms can be small, the overall condition of the room was quite disappointing. It felt very worn down and in need of renovation. The bed and pillows were comfortable, and the bedding was clean, which was important to me since I spent most of my time outside the hotel.
However, the rest of the room did not meet expectations. The bathroom was clearly outdated, and the shower fixture was loose and kept falling. The furniture was very old, and the wardrobe was dusty and not properly cleaned — I didn’t feel comfortable hanging my clothes there. Even the trash bin had not been emptied before my arrival, which suggests that the cleaning standards are lacking.
Another downside for me was the carpet, which I generally prefer to avoid due to hygiene and allergies.
Overall, the location is great, but the hotel itself does not live up to a 4-star standard. In my opinion, it is closer to a 2-star experience. I might consider staying again for the location, but only if the room quality is improved or a different room category is chosen.
