Had a suite with a balcony with a excellent lake view. The staff we're friendly. The room was a little disappointing. The balcony furniture was broken, and the door to the balcony was stiff and didnt open and close properly. There was a kettle but it had to be used on the floor because that was the only electrical socket it would reach. For such a large room the bathroom was tiny, as it was clearly a later addition to the room, there was plenty of space to have made it much more functional bathroom. The furniture was polished wood, so mats for hot cups (coasters) would be a good addition to protect what is lovely furniture.

The hotel is located in a very beautiful area, on the shore of the lake. It is few minuted walk from the castle and from the port. It has a very nice restaurant with a view on the lake. We had a bit of a problem with sauna which was not turned on on time and thus it was not at the appropriate temperature.

Vietimme yhden yön hotellissa pienessä huoneessa pohjakerroksessa jonka ikkuna oli puutarhaan ja ravintolan terassille. Huoneessa ei ollut jääkaappia ja se oli miinusta suht lämpimässä huoneessa. Wc-tilat oli siistit mutta suihkun lattiakaivo ei vetänyt kunnolla. Kun kumppani oli käynyt suihkassa katsoin parhaaksi käydä käytävällä olevassa suihkussa, jossa sitten ei ollut saippuoita.

Mainio sijainti lähellä Olavinlinnaa, Ystävällinen henkilökunta. Terassilla ruokaillessa mukava akvarelli maalaustuokio. Pienimmän huoneen kylpyhuone hieman ahdas. Upeat Johanna Oraksen suunnittelemat astiat aamupalalla, mikä oli maistuva ilman pekonia.

Huone oli eri kuin mitä varatessa kuvassa oli. Huone oli maksettu jo etukäteen, mutta vaihdettu halvempaan huoneeseen. Sänky oli kyllä ihan hyvä. Seura mitä parhain. Aamupala oli hyvä. Tämä oli 3. kerta tässä hotellissa. 2 edellistä kertaa huoneet olleet paljon isommat ja mukavat. Seuraavan kerran eri hotelliin. Henkilökuntaa ei näkynyt.

Turhan venäläinen paikka meidän makuun

Hyvä sijainti Olavinlinnaan ja rantaan nähden mikä mahdollistaa ylihinnoittelun, ainakin kesällä. Kuuma huone, ikkunan sai auki, mutta sitten kadun äänet häiritsi. Nukuimme todella huonosti. Aamupala suppea, periaatteessa hyvätasoinen, mutta kaikki oli vähän väliä loppu.

Der Stil des Hauses und der Zimmer aus früherer Zeit hat durchaus Charme; der Preis (fast 140€ für einen Alleinreisenden) ist aber völlig überzogen im Hinblick auf die Unzulänglichkeiten: kein Aufzug, keine Klimaanlage (fast 30°C im Zimmer aufgrund der Hitzewelle - jedoch Ventilator vorhanden), kein warmes Wasser in der Früh, Rezeption nur bis 21h besetzt. Positiv erwähnt sei das Engangement der jungen Dame an der Rezeption, die mich am Abend der Anreise telefonisch und per Mail versuchte zu kontaktieren (wobei hotels.com die Nachricht erst sehr viel später weiterleitete).

Erittäin ystävällinen palvelu ja mukava hotelli. Hotelli on vanha ja sitä kautta erittäin kaunis, huonoina puolina kuitenkin kostea tuoksu huoneessa.
