I have stayed at this hotel several times before and usually had a very good experience.
I would like to thank the daytime staff who kindly allowed us to check in early at around 1:00pm, which we really appreciated. We left our luggage in the room and went out shortly after.
When we returned to the hotel at around 6:00pm, we noticed that the room (Room 502) was still very warm. The air conditioner was extremely weak and also making noticeable noise, even when set to 17°C.
A staff member came to the room and simply turned the air conditioner off and on again, explaining that this room sometimes takes a while to cool down. However, after waiting about 20 minutes, there was still no improvement.
At around 6:30pm, when I reported the issue again at the front desk, the response I received was quite surprising. The staff member said he did not know how cold I expected the room to be and told me that the other available rooms would likely be the same. He also suggested that if it was not acceptable, I could cancel the booking and find another hotel.
At that time in the evening, this suggestion felt quite unreasonable and made it seem as if the problem was being treated as a guest preference rather than a problem with the room itself.
Eventually we were moved to another room (Room 102), and the air conditioner there worked perfectly. The difference was very obvious, which clearly showed that the problem was with the original room.
Overall, most of the staff were friendly and h
