Well located. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Hotel is a bit run down but it is clean. Room is small but has what it needs - AC, blackout curtains, etc. Perhaps a bit pricey for what it is, but you are paying for the location. Having overnight parking, including 2 EV spaces, was great (CHF 15/night). Not sure this would be my first choice hotel in the future but given that I booked it only a few hours before arriving it wasn’t a bad option.

The Hotel Colorado provides everything you need to see Lugano and it is a great value for the area. The rooms are clean and comfortable—and while they aren’t luxurious the air-conditioning is fabulous! Staff is kind and gracious—the gentleman working the front desk even gave me a ride to a nearby grotto restaurant—(Grotto Figini which should not be missed!).

Excellent stay at Hotel Colorado. I arrived very tired to the hotel, but the check-in was fast and the staff was very kind so everything was smooth. The woman at the reception talks multiple languages so it was easy to communicate with her. She provided me recommendations to eat, take the bus, etc. The room was very clean and had all necessary for a short stay. The reservation included unlimited bus ticket during two days which was great to go to places far from the hotel.

Hotel was in a nice location with a large balcony. Staff were in a bad mood both days I were there. A lot of locals staying at the hotel serving dirty looks. Walls were very thin and many people were going around the floors banging on the walls/doors, or playing loud music in their room. Room service entered the room even though the Do Not Disturb sign was up, made for a very awkward experience to say the least. To make up for a bit of it, the location was within walking distance of the train station and 2 bus stops, so at least leaving the hotel was convenient.

Wir haben 5 schöne Tage im Hotel Colorado verbracht. Personal war sehr freundlich und zu einem Spass zu haben. Zimmer/Balkon gräumig und sauber. Bus hält direkt vor dem Hotel (gratis mit Ticino Ticket). Leider war das Hausinterne Restaurant geschlossen. Wir waren das zweite Mal im Colorado, kommen gerne wieder. Haben es schon öfters positiv weiterempfohlen.
