we've stayed at the hotel Alexandra 4 times and really enjoy the location, book a superior room if possible for a beautiful view of the bay. really nice restaurants just steps away either directions. Fellini Resturant is very good and good prices.a wonderful bakery just a 2 min walk and around the corner a market for all your needs. the front front desk ladies were terrific, very helpful.always happy with this hotel

The team at hotel Alexandra were lovely and helpful, they helped us when we locked ourselves on the balcony and let us check out late and use their facilities while waiting for our train. The location is amazing, walking distance to the beach and the hotel was safe and comfortable for 3 girls travelling from Australia!! Highly recommended, the beach was beautiful.

Throwback to the 90s

Nice and friendly stay with ok breakfast. Noisy traffic and old-school atmosphere. Fine for short stays but I can’t recommend for longer accommodation (or if you like to hurt your back on old matresses, get early wake up from traffic, or hear every time when someone else flushes a lot of water consuming toilet).

-Emailed hotel with a question, no reply. -EXTREME TRAFFIC NOISE DAY AND NIGHT! There was very little sleep. We were exhausted after 2 day stay. -Breakfast eggs were wet, bacon was uncooked, cappuccino very poor. -We politely asked the night clerk for 2 bathe towels. She was unpleasant and said they would be bought up later but we did not receive them. -I am very sorry to write a negative review, but I suggest finding a place away from the main road and definitely not at this location.

Rummet var rent och rymligt. Balkongen bjöd på utsikt mot ett palats och samtlig personal var mycket vänliga. Läget var fantastiskt med närhet till stränder samt en mindre livsmedelsbutik. På en halvtimme promenerade vi längs stranden in till Menton som erbjöd mer puls och ett större utbud kring restauranger, butiker m.m. En kort promenad runt halvön från hotellet bjöd på enastående vyer även om just vår vistelse var varmare än optimalt för just längre vandringar. Det som finns kvar att önska kring byggnaden och rummet är upprustning av badrum samt att lås saknades. Överlag ett trevligt hotell som jag gärna skulle besöka igen. Tack!
