10/10 Exceptional

Smart hotel in Bayeux town centre with secure parking. Plentiful breakfast and the room was clean and tidy. Lift broke whilst we were there (with us in it), but appeared to be quickly repaired within 12 hours. Pool is outside and shared with adjacent hotel. You pay to use the spa/sauna etc. On the pricey side for a smallish space and sauna really should be included in the deal, but nevertheless, internationals welcome, friendly staff and accommodating.

8/10 Very good

The staff was absolutely amazing. In particular, Clara went out of her way to be friendly and helpful from the minute we entered the hotel lobby. The location was perfect with access to shopping, restaurants and tourist attractions within easy walking access.

Rooms were a bit small but the location was good for access to the town. Breakfast was fine, nothing extravagant.

Location was great and the room was spacious. It worked well for my family of 4. Keep in mind this place does not have air conditioning. We opened the windows to get a cross breeze and turned on the fans which made it easier to sleep. My son loved the small pool at the end of the day and the daily breakfast was nice.

10/10 Exceptional

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable, a little warm at times but as this a historic building they cannot install A/C. The bar is excellent, as is the local brew Barya. Out motorbikes were parked securely in the private car park, which costs €16 per space per night (3 bikes in one space, no problem.) The hotel is superbly located for access to town centre cafes and restaurants. Thoroughly recommended.

The apartment we stayed in was a great space for our family of 4. It was clean and bright. We utilized the hot tub and loved that bathrobes were provided for that. The staff we encountered were all extremely kind and helpful.

6/10 Good

We stayed here for two nights while touring the Normandy beaches. The hotel was in an excellent location with adjacent public parking. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The beds however resembled some we seen on our last trip to Pompeii…hard as stone we didn’t sleep much. Perhaps other rooms were better…we were in 305. Otherwise the hotel was fantastic.

It was a tad confusing as it’s attached to hotel Luxembourg and they share a reception. But we were greeted warmly and our room was ready and the infant crib was already in there. Perfect after tired all night flight. Location is great! Near the center. Staff was kind. Would recommend!

Spacious hotel room for France. Very pretty and close to the shops and sights. A few minutes from the Bayeux train station if heading to Paris or vice versa for a portion of your trip. The free included breakfast was phenomenal. Really a fun stay.
