There was a strike at this hotel. Pool closed. No house keeping. The restaurant situation was bizarre - basically a tacky mall food court, with only 2 vendors open. Rooms were nice and fortunately free coffee in the casino. IMHO this hotel should be closed during the strike.

There was Pickering and long wait to get in. The tub to unplug the water is broken, not enough towels and body wash pump was broken. Restaurants were closed with the exception of sun express restaurant. I get it there was no staff, but reception was good and they did maintain the cleanliness of the building best as they can. Rooms were clean though and bathroom is big. Wish we had extra towels

We stayed here to attend a Jays game, bonus points for having a casino! The hotel is easy to get to, and has lots of parking. It was just a $6 Uber ride to get to Ajax GO, which made it easy to take the train downtown and back. Our room was spacious and clean. Having some food options in the lobby was a huge plus, and we enjoyed the casino for a few hours too. A great budget-friendly alternative to staying right downtown Toronto!

There was an obnoxious strike going on and it took about 30 minutes just to get in the parking lot. Not sure what purpose it served making patrons wait. Also due to the strike the pool wasn’t open and several restaurants were closed. We were not made to pay the resort fee because of these issues at least but it still stunk, the pool would’ve been nice. Room was a nice size and clean. Bed was very comfy. The casino was disappointing because none of the video poker machines seemed to have the double up feature.
