Bedroom was spotless, bathroom too. We had family room which had 1 x double and 2 single beds. All comfy, with spare pillows and blankets available in room. Plenty towels for each of us and non slip shower mat available in bathroom. All staff we encountered at reception and breakfast were lovely and very helpful. Great breakfast, choice of cereals, porridge, juice, and cooked options, tea and coffee. It's not fancy, it is a good price for what you get and I'd be happy to stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at the Highlander Hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was very good. We chose the half-board option, which included a three-course dinner (starter, main course, and dessert), and the food was good—especially considering the location. We really enjoyed our stay and would like to thank everyone at the Highlander Hotel for their hospitality.

Very nice place to stay. Tasty cooked breakfast + cereal bar available. Good level of cleanliness. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Newtonmore overall is a charming place to stay, with the wildcat trail and cat statues. Best if you come with your own car though if aiming to go around as the public transport from Newtonmore is understandably a little sparse!

The highlander is our go to stopping point when we’re heading to Glencoe. We usually have our small dog with us and it’s great that it’s dog friendly. We’ve stayed 3/4 times now and would definitely stay again. It’s clean and the foods good.

I was a bit apprehensive bringing a group here due to previous reviews and I can honestly say I was pleasantly surprised the rooms were a good size , bathrooms seemed almost brand-new, tea coffee facilities, hairdryer, bathroom amenities etc all as you would expect. nice big parking areas, bar was great staff were great and the breakfast was also a decent offering for the Price. If anyone else thinks differently I would happily give them some names of properties nearby which this hotel is twice as good as.
