The receptionist was delightful and helpful, and it was nice that she wished me a happy Birthday on noticing my dob on my id. The room was lovely with the lamps by 4 poster bed creating a warm ambience. Unfortunately the TV screen was smashed but this was sorted straightaway with another TV brought to the room by the helpful caretaking staff. There was a gift of cava and chocolates for my birthday which was a lovely touch. The spa bath was good, plenty of towels the shower was ok too. The balcony was spacious and comfortable. Good location for walking to the Port area of Lo Pagan and if your able as we are a nice walk to the mud baths and the flamingoes. Some parts of the room could do with repairs/touch ups but it was clean and comfortable.

(4th floor) I have stayed at the Traina on a number of occasions. It is usually a very good hotel. On this occasion the swimming pool had been drained for maintenance and I wasn’t notified by this which was disappointing. The room French doors were very difficult to open and close and two freestanding lamps weren’t working. Everything else was to the normal high standard.

Disappointing stay - Hotel Traina

Disappointing. Breakfast AWFUL. Breakfast room dreadful, conference room. You have the potential to have breakfast on the roof in a covered area with a view … why not use it? Breakfast waiter - miserable! Hot food was cold and greasy. Choice was limited. Hotel foyer and corridors pleasant. Hotel room very dated. Terrace awful (bearing in mind you pay extra). Terrace should have parasol and loungers as minimum and safety glass in between terraces should not be cracked - this gave an unkept appearance. On the one and only plus side, Reception staff were pleasant and (American/Canadian night porter was a delight!).
