This place is in one of the best locations for a trip to Venice. However, the facilities are inevitably old, given how long the property has been around. Still, the understated hospitality and appropriate friendliness can actually make you feel more comfortable. My wife and I just spent 4 wonderful days in Venice. This was our first stay at Al Vagon, and it won't be our last. Maurizio the owner, and Adriano his manager, were very helpful, and made us feel very welcomed. Al Vagon's location is perfect. It is right in the middle of almost everything you want to see and do. The room was very comfortable, and was kept extremely clean. We love this place, and so will you. Joel and Jackie Strauss
