This a wonderful out of the way hotel. It gets you away from the busy San Juan area. The semi-private beach is the perfect getaway. The bar and grill had great food and amazing service. The owners were very accommodating. They always made sure that we had what we needed. I plan on staying here anytime I visit Puerto Rico. Thank you Dreams Hotel.

Nice little motel

This motel is in a very residential area but is a decent place. It is undergoing remodeling and is very laid back There is a little beach out the back and a nice little pool. The staff was friendly but there was no real check in person. So we had to go find someone who was working on the property They were accommodating by allowing us to leave our luggage and use their facilities before the 3pm check in. There is a nice little restaurant upstairs but some of the staff did not speak English and definitely didn’t work with any hurriedness but the food was good

Our air conditioning unit turned off the first night in the middle of the night. Nobody was there to assist us and we tried to sleep through the room temperature reaching 90°. There were piles of empty beer, bottles and cans in the grass outside of our room. The beach closest to the hotel is so small you almost can’t even lay down the towel. We left after a couple of nights and found a nicer hotel elsewhere. Certainly not worth $245 per night.

Hidden gem

Before I booked, I had talked to the location, because my flight would arrive late. They were very understanding and accommodating. They even called me to make sure we were ok. They stayed communicating until we got, since we got a little lost. Brand new hotel with beautiful view. They are still in the construction phase, but when it’s done, it will be great.

At first worried about neighborhood, but turned out to be amazing people. Private beach, completely remodeled. Downfall, new mattress was uncomfortable and low water pr. Getting ready to open a restaurant above the office amd a lower hangout to relax and have some adult beverages. All in i will definitely be back...

This was a very beautiful property. It is still under construction so you have to expect the noise early in the morning of them doing construction. There’s nothing around this property which is the only con there’s no stores it’s 30 minutes away from the airport. They don’t offer any concessions no coffee no towels no toothbrushes so you have to come with every you may want or need or unless you rent a car so you can get around.

Our room had a moldy smell and dampness, a humidifier is needed. Also guest cannot control the a/c have to wait on management. Did not include basic hotel item. The bed was not comfortable and bedding looked old. Need better door locks.

The restaurant on site was nice. Staff was helpful and kind. Obvious signs of construction with equipment everywhere. Needs a solid brickbwall/ fence on the side across from 101102 103 Because the music is so loud from the business there early morning and all day. This makes the stay not so relaxing. We had no idea about a shuttle to the cruise port. We found out by accident late at night for the next morning and already paid for transportation. This would have been nice to know ahead of time. We also found out it only goes to one port and not both which is not good. Restaurant food and service was excellent. Music was too loud as far as trying to have a conversation. We had to yell the entire time which makes it hard to visit with each other. It seems like you are on a good path with making this a great resort as far as reno. Keep it up.

A true gem for anyone looking to recharge in PR

Aqua by Dreams Hotel is such a true hidden gem of a hotel, and massively under-marketed. We were so pleasantly surprised by the hotel and what the location has to offer. It is fantastic. It is not located in downtown San Juan so its definitely preferable to come by rental car. But the place is just stunning. Its located right at the beach and has private access through a gate. Its a «wild» beach with no amenities but that’s what we prefer because untouched nature is the best. The beach is literally only steps away, and you’ll have it basically to yourself. The hotel also has a pool - which we didn’t even know until we checked in. The pool was clean and modern and our kids loved splashing around. There are a few sun loungers as well. The hotel also a trampoline with my kids were obsessed with! The hotel room was also wonderful. Very clean, spacious, and the beds were comfortable. Traveling with a family, we loved that they offered large rooms with two queen beds and a bunk bed. They cleaned the room daily and changed the towels for fresh ones. The staff were very friendly and welcoming but mostly stayed «in the background». The internet worked great - we had to take a few work calls from the room and had no issues with the connection. There is a restaurant on site that offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. They have live music on the weekends. Down the street, there were a few more very cute local restaurants and bars. 10/10 hotel!

Overall the stay was incredible, the owner and his wife were one text message a way, plus they are always at the property, the staff was very nice. I loved the property, you can enjoy the breeze everywhere, the view was gorgeous, the bar has good variety and the energy at the karaoke at night was on point.
