If you're a tourist looking for a comfortable place to crash and take a quick shower between sightseeing and your next itinerary, this hotel is a good choice. The building itself is quite old and has a medieval feel, but the rooms have been nicely renovated.
The location is right in the centre of a bustling shopping street, so we were grateful that our room in the annex was surprisingly quiet. The air conditioning was fully functional and kept us comfortably cool during the peak of the summer heat.
The only minor issue was the controller, which had a bright green LED that we couldn't switch off at
night.
Otherwise, kudos to the front manager, bellhop, and cleaning crew in the annex. The staff exceeded our expectations in terms of hospitality. They even provided us with a practical map showing how to walk to the main tourist
attractions and how to get around-very helpful for visitors.
Breakfast was also well-balanced and thoughtfully curated, offering a simple but satisfying selection. The rooftop restaurant was very clean and well organised.
The rooms and hallways were clean, and the hallways were pleasantly cool when we returned from the heat.
One thing that particularly impressed us was the daily housekeeping. Our bed was made, towels were changed, and rubbish was collected every day. We didn't expect this level of service from a 3-star hotel, so the cleaning team definitely deserves a compliment.
Overall, it was a fuss-free stay for us.If you're looking for a central hotel
