We visited in a heat wave and the room was stiflingly hot, despite the windows and curtains being closed. The fan provided didn't work, but we brought our own luckily. The room had a double bed and a small single, but there wasn't much room otherwise. The toilet is in a corner cupboard, and the shower room is tiny. I can't imagine a family of three staying here. The location is super central. We didn't have breakfast, but I wish we had.

This is an excellent choice for seeing Saumur. It is in an old building with a lot of character. My room was large, with wooden beamed ceiling, tall windows that opened, and a limestone fireplace I wish I had in my home. Ensuite had shower and had plenty of space. Bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly and quite helpful. The hotel is part of a very large restaurant with good food and good service. It is in the main shopping and dining area, and within a short walk to the Chateau, which is the major attraction of Saumur. I would like to stay there again.

Godt plassert, meget bra restaurant

Ottimo ristorante, stanze essenziali.
