What a great place to stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay at the Sylvester Inn. We only stayed one night, but we had the best night's sleep in our king bed. The room was very clean and the staff really went above and beyond. I can't say enough kind words or recommend them enough. Thanks for everything @

Check out time was 11, staff was waiting at the door trying to clean before 9am. Was rushing us out when when we told them are kids was getting dressed and ready. Wasn’t even close to check out time and they rushed us out. Won’t stay again.

Not that nice

It was an older outdated motel. It was clean just not very nice. The owners got in a shouting match with one standing out side my door shouting at the other one that was outside by the office at about 8:30 PM that was the first time I ever had to open my door to shush an owner of an establishment.

Pretty Meh

Though a little rough looking on the outside, the actual room was very clean and quiet. Check-in was easy though little courtesies were under looked like forgetting to give out the password or having to ask for a receipt. Two issues though. First, someone else had a key to my room and in the middle of the night while I was sleeping opened the door, quickly apologized, then left. Second, when I went to checkout there was nobody at the counter but I just left my key and called them on my lunch break to make sure I wasn't charged for another night. Overall, there are things that can be improved upon (you get what you pay for) but I enjoyed my stay nevertheless.

Disappointing Experience

The reviews were good and this was close to a business matter I needed to take care of. Got in very late (early) and took forever to come to window. Understandable of the time so I overlooked that. I drove all night to get here, and asked if they had a late check out so I could sleep for a couple hours before leaving. The man said 1 or 2 pm was fine. I thanked him and said 2pm would be great. At the end he circled where he put us down for a 1PM check out. Okay well. Not 2pm but okay. Then after getting back in the morning and finally falling asleep for 20 mins - I had 2 people banging on my door and telling me I needed to pay - check out is at 11am. I had to explain several times but then didn't understand me well due to language barrier. They finally understood but by this point I was beyond frustrated and couldn't go back to sleep so I left. I wanted to love it, but people get late check outs sometimes because its for a good reason. I had this room from 6AM till 1230PM and was gone from 9AM till 1130AM. I should have just slept in my car.

Room smelled of marijuana and there was no toilet paper stocked in the room. But we just needed a place to rest for the night and it served its purpose. Staff was friendly enough, check in was easy.
